STEP (Scotland’s Tertiary Enhancement Programme) is the national enhancement programme for the Scottish tertiary sector. 

For our introduction film for the programme, we utilised a combination of motion graphics and animation, interviews, and voiceover. These helped to explore how STEP enables Scotland’s colleges and universities to work together to improve and enhance learning, teaching, the student experience, and staff development.

Our video production uses both live content from the event, helping viewers connect with real people, along with illustrations. These drawings were created by illustrators who captured a visual record of the STEP event; we used their style to create on-screen animation.
