British Sign Language
Providing good accessibility to your video content is really important and so adding adding BSL to your videos can be a great way to make sure you reach out to both deaf and hearing viewers who communicate through British Sign Language. We do this regularly for content we produce and also for existing content. We can provide a range of hearing and deaf interpreters, a studio and checking services to ensure everything is signed properly.
Transcription
Before we subtitle a video we need to create a transcription. This is often time consuming as it needs to be accurate and grammatically correct. We provide transcription services on video content we produce and for other, existing videos you might have.
Subtitling
Once we have a good transcript of your project we can subtitle your video. We can create burnt in subtitles on screen or we can deliver subtitles as an SRT file suitable for switching on and off on You Tube, Facebook and other online services. We can also produce subtitling for broadcast.
Audio Description
Audio description (AD) is additional commentary that explains what’s happening on screen. AD describes body language, expressions and movements, making the programme clear through sound and is designed primarily to improve the accessibility of content for blind and visually impaired people.
